This is the first version of my first attempt at font making. I was inspired when a client of mine wanted a "Raiders of the Lost Ark" type logo for a low budget local TV commercial. I was given a great drawing of the logo they wanted, but I didn't have a matching font style.
Since I wanted to use either Typestyler or Pixar Typestry, I figured I needed to either redraw their idea with Freehand, or just create a new font. Deadline problems prevented me from giving them this font, but now it's here for you!
This is the first incomplete version consisting of caps only. No punctuation or numbers yet, but there are numerous kerned pairs.
Think "Raiders" and you'll get the idea. Although it looks good as is, playing with it in a program like Typestyler or Illustrator will yield great results. Have fun! Please let me know if you like this font-- if I get any response, I'll be happy to finish it.
